WELCOME TO CARLISLE CENTURIONS FC

Carlisle Centurions FC nicknamed “The Eagles” was founded in November 2015 by Hamish Phillips & Daniel Moses out of our partnership with Houghton Primary school, for which we will always be grateful. Over a couple of years we had worked with the school running the after school football club on a Wednesday & Thursday afternoons and also participating in tournaments with the school teams.

This led to a number of players asking about having a football club in Houghton, which there had been in the past, word spread and players started asking to join from around the area, so the idea of forming a club was born.

That partnership still continues today with our u6 Development Squad training on the school playing field and in the school hall and the after school club is still running.

The club has FA Charter Standard accreditation, are affiliated to Cumberland FA and our teams play in the Carlisle Glass Longhorn leagues.

All our coaches are Cumberland FA enhanced DBS checked and hold child safeguarding & first aid certification. Each team has a lead coach assisted by volunteer coaches. The club has a Welfare Officer, Neil Blackburn, and all our league registered players are insured.

All our teams play in the Carlisle Glass Longhorn Leagues

Carlisle Centurions FC offer the opportunity to join a club whose ethos is designed for young players to learn new skills, develop their abilities, and gain confidence in a fun and enjoyable team environment.
